Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ShowDog (showdog.studio), operated by Data Driven Media ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

2. Description of Service

ShowDog is a podcast and content production management platform. It helps teams organize episodes, manage assets, coordinate with guests and sponsors, track production workflows, and generate content prompts. ShowDog does not host or distribute podcast audio or video content.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use ShowDog. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be at least 16 years of age

4. Organizations and Teams

Each account belongs to an organization. The organization owner is responsible for managing team members, permissions, and the data within their organization. If you invite team members, you are responsible for ensuring they comply with these terms.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all content and data you upload or create in ShowDog, including podcast metadata, episode information, assets, notes, and prompt templates. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the ShowDog service to you. You may export your data at any time through the settings page.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service
• Resell or redistribute the service without our permission

7. Subscriptions and Billing

ShowDog offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor (Stripe). By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

• Pay the applicable fees for your chosen plan
• Provide valid payment information
• Accept that fees are non-refundable except where required by law

We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or billing portal.

8. Third-Party Integrations

ShowDog provides features that interact with third-party services, including RSS feeds, AI content tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and others), and authentication providers (Google). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or conduct.

9. API and MCP Access

ShowDog provides API keys and an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for programmatic access. API keys are organization-scoped and should be treated as sensitive credentials. You are responsible for any actions performed through your API keys.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShowDog and Data Driven Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users or our service. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination to allow for export, after which it will be deleted.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or via email. Continued use of ShowDog after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of ShowDog shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
